Why should you choose Intelex over the dozens of other Web page designers and developers out there? Here are just a few reasons:
 |
 |
Before beginning the process of building a website, you should know the purpose of the website. Is it to:
Know the purpose of your web site.
- Have a Web presence?
- Improve the general image of your company?
- Spread information about your products or services?
- Improve customer service?
- Increase sales?
Know your target market.
It is also essential to know who your visitors and users of the site will be. This will help us create an appropriate concept design.

You will receive a quote from us within 24 to 48 business hours from the time your request is submitted. In some cases, we might provide a price range with an explanation of the variation. In very rare cases, when the information you submit is not sufficient, we will email you with additional questions.

Approve Quote
If you are satisfied with the quote you have received, let us know by email or phone, and we will issue an invoice to you for the deposit. Our quote will be your main reference during the website development process and has all of the information necessary for you to understand the process. If you wish, you may also request a formal agreement.
Initial deposit
Once you have accepted our quote, we will require a deposit: 50% of the total amount for small projects, and 30% for larger projects.
Order Form (optional)
For bigger projects, we may send you an order form customized to your particular site. This form will be the blueprint for your site and will help guide the work of our designers and programmers.

Site Map
To begin creating concept designs, we will need a preliminary site map from you. A sample site map can be seen here. Site maps can always be changed later on, although bear in mind that a website with 3 to 4 pages will require a different approach than one with 10 to 12 pages.
Review, correction, and approval of concept designs
Review, correction and acceptance of the concept designs
In most cases, we will create and send you three different concept designs for your website. Each design will be stored as a picture (JPEG) file. You will then review them, select the one that you like best, and send us any corrections if necessary. Once we receive the corrections, we will send you a corrected version. In rare instances when none of the designs are suitable, we will create three additional concept designs for your review.

Design integration and programming
Once your design is approved, we will convert it into HTML. To do this, you will need to send us the final content, which is then integrated into the HTML files. The final content needs to be provided in Word format (see sample).
Usually, images for your site will be taken from royalty-free clip art galleries. If you already have images for your site, please send them separately in either JPG, JPEG, or PNG format; and in a separate Word document specify where those images need to be placed. If needed, a reasonable number of changes may be made to the content later on at no additional cost.
After the site has been converted into HTML, any major changes to the design or layout will be made at an additional cost.

Website review
At this stage, you will review the final website, ensuring that you are completely satisfied with the structure of the website, all of the pages are laid out properly, and the images are correct. At this stage, your site can be found at a test location: www.intelex.ca/yoursite.
Final website approval
This is the final stage before all rights, permissions, and ownership are transferred to you.
Final Payment
This stage concludes the approval process, at which point we will transfer the final version of your website to its permanent location: www.yoursite.com.
Post-launch changes and debugging
After you approve your website and make your final payment, you will be given a two-week bonus period, in case you find any minor problems with your website. These could be linking problems, incorrect images, minor changes to content, grammatical corrections, etc. During this two-week period, all changes are FREE OF CHARGE.
Permanent Debugging
If you find any bugs on the site after the two-week period, they will be fixed at NO COST. Changes to your website that are not bug-related are charged on a per-hour basis.
